Lined Tank Service & Support

Specialized care for lined tank containers.

Lined tank containers carry some of the most demanding cargo in the industry — and the lining itself adds a layer of complexity to every repair, inspection, and refurbishment. Custom Tank Innovations services lined tanks across our full range of capabilities, with technicians who understand how to work around PTFE, rubber, plasite, phenolic, and GRP linings without compromising them. We maintain integrity of high-purity containers better than any other depot, including ChemLine or Sakaphen linings, with our state of the art clean room.

How it works

Service that respects the lining.

Working on a lined tank takes an extra level of care. Here’s how we approach every job.
01

Assess

We inspect the tank — including the condition of the existing lining — and note anything that affects the scope of work.
02

Plan Around the Lining

Repairs, inspection, refurbishment, or customization work is scoped to avoid damaging or contaminating the lining wherever possible.
03

Perform the Service

Our welders, technicians, and inspectors complete the requested work using methods appropriate for lined equipment in our specialty built clean facility, taking all measures to not compromise the purity of the lining.
04

Document & Coordinate

We document lining conditions, and if relining is needed, we’ll help you coordinate that work as part of a broader project with a qualified lining specialist.
